Actually, I've read some news items before that some countries are beginning to adhere to global traffic standards.<br /><br />They're changing the color of road signs and pedestrian features to the standard green, they're utilizing <a href="http://www.indmetalstrap.com/strapping.html" rel="nofollow">stainless steel strapping</a> and other durable materials for reinforced pole grip, they alter the symbols to match the ones globally used, etc. For me, this implies a certain interminable unity between countries.
